The Minnesota Women’s Woodland Network (MNWWN) provides the opportunity to recognize and enhance the role of women in woodland management, whether they own land themselves, may inherit or purchase land in the future, or who may simply be interested in supporting this effort.

The Minnesota DNR is offering a cost-share opportunity for woodland owners whose seedlings have been killed by drought. DNR can assist in covering the costs of replacement seedlings and supportive management practices. These include site preparation, protective measures, and competition reduction, all aimed at improving the survival and growth of your new seedlings. Eligible participants could receive financial assistance of up to $10,000 annually. Enroll today and get started on your fall plantings.
