What:  Birding at the Sax-Zim Bog - an outing for the whole family and your friends!
           with Eileen Schantz-Hansen & a Bog Naturalist

From:   10 AM to ?

Where: Sax-Zim Bog near Meadowlands
 

If you want to carpool, let us know and we'll try to coordinate rides depending on who is coming from where.  Otherwise, directions to the Welcome Center are below.   We'll plan to meet at the Center at 10 AM and car pool from there if needed.  We'll be spending the morning (or however long you want to stay) touring the area by car and foot looking for whatever we can find.  Afterwards, we're planning to stop at the Trailside in Meadowlands for a bite to eat.

What to Bring: binoculars, bird book, warm boots and clothes, and snowshoes if you have them.  We will also try to have some extra binocs & snowshoes in case someone needs them. Bring a water bottle or a thermos of something warm and a snack if you'd like.  And, of course, be sure to dress for the weather!
